Personas are a good way to allow colleagues and other external workers to get an understanding of the type of person who would use the system. By keeping a persona in mind while developing or designing, you will create a more efficient system that the target audience will want to use.

Persona 1:

This persona was used for designing a website that sells laptops and computers. This was one of two persona’s that were created for this project. A persona with scenarios and goals can allow you to create requirements both functional and non-functional requirements before you even start different requirement gathering techniques. This is a good starting point for a system as it allows you to think about the purpose of the system and how it will actually be used.
